Welcome to my Therapy Practice. I am an Integrative Psychotherapist and EMDR Practitioner.
Experiences can often leave us stuck in a repetitive cycles of behaviour, thoughts and overwhelming emotions. Traumatic events can become cellular and be the driver of unhealthy coping mechanisms, consciously or unconsciously. This is not uncommon and is a natural human response to protect ourselves. These patterns can be challenged through talking therapy, on the basis that, despite the enormity of an event (past, present or future), the way we view it can affect the way we feel and behave.
Becoming a therapist has been a natural progression resulting from connections I have made with people. Being human is tough and connecting with other humans in a meaningful way is a privilege. My approach is to develop and maintain a trusting therapeutic rapport enabling you to reach your goals. I will support you in becoming your own therapist. I believe every person has the right and the ability to live their life in a way that’s right for them. Sometimes this isn’t easy, but it doesn’t mean it isn’t possible.
I use an Integrative approach drawing on many modalities combining all my knowledge and skills, including Person Centred, REBT, EMDR, IFS & neuroscience. Working in this way I can help people overcome many emotional & mental health issues, including:
